INTRODUCTION TO SAILING
Lake Simcoe

  • Three (3) hour course on the water.
  • Opportunity to experience the pure joy of sailing.
  • You actually sail the boat, raise and trim sails, steer the boat.
  • Experienced Sail Canada certified instructors.
  • Focus on safety.
  • Based out of Lake Simcoe (Barrie & Cook’s Bay).
  • 22 foot or 25 foot keelboats.
  • Evenings or Weekends available.
  • Lifejackets will be provided.
  • Group discounts.

START KEELBOAT SAILING
Lake Simcoe

  • Entry level intended for students with little or no prior sailing exposure.
  • 6–7.5 metre keelboats.
  • One (1) weekend or Five (5) weekday evening formats.
  • Theoretical and Practical components.
  • Fourteen (14) hours on water building fundamental sailing skill.
  • Low instructor student ratio.
  • Work book provided for home study; no test.
  • Pleasure Craft Operator Card training included if required.
  • Optional sailing club membership with followup mentoring

BASIC CRUISING STANDARD COURSE
Lake Simcoe

  • Entry level intended for students with some prior sailing exposure.
  • 7–9 metre keelboats.
  • Two weekend or weekday evening format.
  • Theoretical and Practical components.
  • 24 hours on water building fundamental sailing skill plus 12 hours of mentoring.
  • Low instructor student ratio.
  • Online or classroom Theory and Pleasure Craft. Operator Card (Not required if Basic Keelboat course theory completed).
  • Optional 56 hour package and followup mentoring.
